Role Overview:
The Front Office Supervisor plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our guests from the moment they arrive until their departure. This position is vital in maximizing room revenue and ensuring a high occupancy rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome all guests at the Front Desk, adhering to company standards.
  • Manage the PBX console effectively, ensuring compliance with hotel protocols.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries regarding hotel amenities and services.
  • Oversee the logging and delivery of packages, mail, and messages.
  • Review daily Front Office logs and Trace Files.
  • Provide information about local attractions, dining, and entertainment options.
  • Adhere to cash handling and credit policies.
  • Stay informed about rates, packages, and special promotions.
  • Maintain familiarity with in-house groups and special events.
  • Handle check-ins and checkouts efficiently and courteously.
  • Ensure proper operation of the Front Desk computer system.
  • Complete all tasks on the shift checklist in a timely manner.
  • Conduct bucket checks and prepare closing paperwork as per hotel standards.
  • Promote guest programs and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Assist guests with safe deposit box access.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant college coursework is beneficial.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proficiency in computer systems is necessary.
  • Customer service experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Physical ability to lift and move objects as needed.
  • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Attend all required meetings and training sessions.
  • Adhere to personal grooming and uniform standards.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills and initiative.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

Compensation:
$22/hr
