Job Overview:

This role is within the Multi Domain Solutions Division at Leidos, supporting a fast-paced program with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. As a Senior IT Quality Assurance Specialist, you will ensure the delivery of comprehensive IT and support services to guarantee mission success while adhering to DoD standards and regulations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts in compliance with DoD standards and regulations.
  • Evaluate software, hardware, and system performance against established metrics and DoD compliance requirements (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all QA activities support the overall program's success and meet the high standards of quality expected in the DoD context.
  • Manage program instantiation of the Quality Management System (QMS) and oversee Quality Assurance Plans (QAP).
  • Implement audit practices for internal processes and products, ensuring compliance with PWS, SLAs/SLOs, EENG, ISO (namely 9001:2015) for the program as applicable.

Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree with 8+ years of experience or Masters degree with 6+ years of experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of DoD compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA, RMF, DISA STIGs) and security protocols.
  • Familiarity with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) as they pertain to managed services and DoD programs.
  • Experience with testing in an environment that adheres to Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI).
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and project management processes.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced knowledge of DoD security frameworks such as NIST 800-53 and DISA STIG guidelines.
  • Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and its application in DoD software development and testing.
