Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Management Associate to join our team at SMBC. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and managing critical and high-risk relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure seamless business operations.
  • Manage and monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with third-party vendors.
  • Develop and implement process enhancements to streamline reporting workflows and improve overall efficiency.
  • Partner with the Sourcing and Procurement team to ensure vendor contracts have proper terms, SLAs, and protections.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4-6 years of supplier management experience, with a focus on building reports, data management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong negotiation, management, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coupa experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Reg W experience.
  • 6 Sigma certification.
  • Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI experience.
