We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Applications Analyst to join our team at LMHS. In this role, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support, troubleshooting, and software design for the Epic OP Time and Anesthesia modules.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, design, build, test, and implement information systems that support and enhance clinical practices.
- Analyze complex issues and problems, test data, and assist customers in reaching resolution(s).
- Participate in testing of module updates, enhancements, custom programming, and new releases.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for assigned applications with little to no assistance.
- Provide training for physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff on new computer systems, application upgrades, and new functionality.
- Administer competencies following training sessions.
- Utilize current issue tracking software to document contact with customers and resolutions to issues.
- Manage IS-related and non-IS-related projects with limited management oversight.
- Bachelor's or Associate Degree or have acquired 1 to 3 years of equivalent experience.
- Epic certification required or experience in the Epic OP Time and/or Anesthesia systems.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and hospital policies related to anesthesia.
- Familiar with scheduling workflows, resource management, and workflows for perioperative documentation and case requests.
- Familiar with preference cards and their maintenance and case cart and materials management workflows.
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills required to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external contacts.
- Strong skills in PC desktop applications such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
