About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Epic Anesthesia Applications Analyst II to join our team at Mount Sinai Health System. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in designing and specifying information systems solutions to address business needs and the methods for installing them.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes, including diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies, and tools.
  • Develop logical statements of business, scientific, and/or engineering requirements.
  • Research and evaluate alternative solutions, recommending the most efficient and cost-effective solution for the systems design, considering existing systems, available technology, equipment capacity, and limitations.
  • Work with development, operations, technical support, and other IT areas throughout the development and installation processes.
  • Design a detailed systems testing plan to ensure an accurate and effective product.
  • Provide guidance and direction to other Application Analysts as needed.
  • Prepare charts, tables, and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems, utilizing various business, scientific, and/or engineering mathematical techniques.
  • Analyze existing system logic difficulties and revise the logic and procedures involved as necessary.
  • Assist in the supervision and preparation of logic flow charting.
  • Act as a project leader as required.
  • Perform related duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. A minimum of four years of solid, diverse work experience in IT is required, including Epic Anesthesia Certification and experience. Non-Bargaining Unit, 29-DTP Clinical Applications And Training - MSH, Mount Sinai Hospital.
