Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary

This role is responsible for conducting visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of parts to ensure they meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical inspections of parts using various tools and equipment
  • Compile and maintain accurate inspection records
  • Receive and process customer returns (RMA) in the ERP system
  • Perform inventory material transactions and execute diverse tasks as required
  • Review and prepare RMA repairs or replacements for shipping to customers
  • Conduct cycle counting and perform internal MRB rework as needed
  • Proactively identify opportunities for productivity improvement
  • Collaborate with manager, engineering staff, and purchasing staff to resolve technical issues
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of related experience
  • High school, trade school, or equivalent education
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with data entry and basic computer skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Proficiency in mechanical inspection equipment
