Position Summary:

As a key member of our team at Global Pharma Tek, you will play a critical role in coordinating and integrating system data models and design to promote data sharing, eliminate redundancy, and provide for the efficient and effective use of the state's data resources.

You will work closely with the Project Manager to develop project plans, coordinate with data stewards to develop and enforce data classification policies and standards, and create and maintain metadata repositories.

Additionally, you will define and enforce data standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data integrity, dependability, quality, and usability through the use of appropriate security, verification, and data management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and integrate system data models and design to promote data sharing and eliminate redundancy.
  • Develop and maintain metadata repositories, including formal descriptions of data, data structures, and data flow diagrams.
  • Define and enforce data standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data integrity and usability.
  • Work with data stewards to develop and enforce data classification policies and standards.
  • Develop and maintain the statewide data model to ensure integrated use across all applications.
  • Design and architect for both native and hybrid cloud deployments on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Ansible, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artefactory, and Veracode.
  • Knowledge of IaaC - Terraform and CloudFormation.

Requirements:

  • Over + years of experience creating, updating, and maintaining systems documentation.
  • + RHEL experience.
  • + years of Windows Server experience.
  • + years of SQL experience.
  • + years of Network Administration experience.
  • Architecting Container Orchestration Ks/OpenShift.
  • Experience with Administering/Architecting IIS webserver/Apache/WAF.
  • Experience using Architect tools like Visio/LucidChart.
  • Exposure to Application Architecture and AppServer like Weblogic/Websphere/JBoss.
  • Architecting redundant and scalable Database deployment for Oracle/MSSQL.
  • Experience with Securing Network/Web Application/Database.
  • Exposure on any one of the Programming languages like C/Java/Python/Bash/PowerShell.
