Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Google Cloud Platform team, you will be responsible for identifying business and technical requirements, conducting full technical discovery, and architecting client solutions to meet gathered requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver product messaging for the Google Cloud Platform using whiteboard and slide presentations, product demonstrations, white papers, trial management, and Request for Information (RFI) response documents.
  • Drive recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure to implement a complete solution providing best practice advice to customers to optimize Google Cloud platform effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience as a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or a customer-facing role.
  • Experience with legacy and modern application development, cloud service delivery, and deployment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with developing scalable architectures using API management, microservice frameworks, PaaS, container orchestration systems, or other applicable platforms.
  • Experience with state, local, public sector clients including state, county, and local municipal agencies.
  • Knowledge of application security patterns including web application security, service mesh, and mobile security strategies.
