About the Role

Regional Medical Center of San Jose is seeking a skilled Bilingual Medicaid Eligibility Advocate to join our team. As a Medicaid Eligibility Advocate, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive the financial assistance they need to access quality healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct eligibility screenings and assessments to determine patient financial needs
  • Counsel patients on insurance benefits and co-payments
  • Act as a liaison between patients, hospitals, and government agencies
  • Complete and file applications for financial assistance
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of applications

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate degree preferred
  • Minimum of one year of related experience in healthcare
