Job Summary

UCLA Health is seeking a highly skilled Quality Improvement Specialist to join our Patient Access Organization. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in enhancing patient access and satisfaction by ensuring the highest standards of communication and service within our Patient Communication Center (PCC).

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine audits and analyze data to identify opportunities for system-wide enhancements in PCC operations.
  • Collaborate with members of the Patient Access Organization to identify problems and drive improvements in quality.
  • Develop and implement quality initiatives to promote patient satisfaction and access.
  • Work closely with the Director of Quality Support and the Integrity Services Manager to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to parse complex data sets and identify trends.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a pleasant and courteous telephone demeanor.
  • Ability to work as part of a team while functioning independently and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Strong customer service skills to promote pleasant and effective interactions with patients, staff, and doctors.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with peers, PCRs, and leaders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
