Job Summary

Tennessee Tech University is seeking a highly skilled ERP Project Manager to lead the implementation of our enterprise resource planning system. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including vendors and stakeholders, to ensure effective project execution.
  • Monitor and control project costs, staffing requirements, and timelines.
  • Provide regular progress updates and key metrics to executive management, informing strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and budget changes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Resolve complex issues and problems, ensuring project success.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Monitor project progress, evaluating achievement of immediate and extended objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from an accredited institution.
  • At least 2 years of IT project management experience or 5 years of IT project management experience.
  • Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals.
  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong people skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration.
  • ERP project management experience in Higher Education.
  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP); Professional in Project Management (PPM); Certified Project Manager (CPM - IAPM).
Work Environment

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
