Position Title: Supply Chain Analyst
Job Overview:

The Supply Chain Analyst plays a pivotal role in our strategic initiatives aimed at data collection and analytical assessment to enhance the efficiency of our supply chain operations. This individual will also take the lead in managing the supply planning components for production. We seek a motivated self-starter with a robust commitment to refining existing processes and systems. Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary objectives include surpassing customer service expectations, managing inventory goals, and achieving excellence in supply planning.

Time Allocation:

80% Collaborate in the oversight and execution of the supply planning operations for Production Components alongside key stakeholders;

  • Coordinate and implement procurement of service items from global contract manufacturers and suppliers;
  • Track purchase order status and shipment details within the Oracle ERP system;
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships and communication with sourcing teams;
  • Assess inventory levels on a commodity basis and allocate inventory to support domestic safety stocks for production needs;
  • Optimize planning schedules to meet customer service objectives;
15% Monitor and report on key performance indicators;
  • Develop and manage customer dashboards for root cause analysis to enhance delivery performance focused on the end customer;
  • Collaborate with transportation teams to ensure precise order pickup and delivery;
5% Undertake special projects and assignments as required.

Qualifications:

Experience and Skills:
  • 0-5 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, particularly within the consumer goods sector;
  • Understanding of supply chain principles and their application;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to synthesize information from diverse sources and provide actionable recommendations;
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills;
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
  • Experience with Oracle, AS400, PIM, and PDMLink is highly desirable;
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities;
  • Willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule, including participation in teleconferences with international vendors;
  • High level of accuracy in work, especially in order management;
  • Able to perform well under pressure and navigate competing demands within the organization;
  • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills;
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude, reliability, and initiative;
  • A focus on continuous improvement.
Travel Requirements:
  • Minimal travel (approximately 5%);
Working Conditions:

This position is based in a manufacturing facility. The environment is climate-controlled.

Physical Requirements:

Candidates must be able to distinguish colors, stand for extended periods, lift/carry up to 35 lbs, reach in various directions, and kneel or stoop as needed. A drug screening and physical examination are prerequisites for employment.
