Nursing Leadership Executive Responsibilities
- Direct the management of clinical service lines.
- Optimize the utilization of human and financial resources to ensure the service line operates efficiently and effectively.
- Manage contracts and service agreements pertinent to the service line.
- Assess, develop, and refine clinical and operational processes to adapt to the evolving healthcare landscape and the needs of patients and families.
- Innovate and promote new services in alignment with advancements in technology and strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with key departments to formulate short and long-term strategic plans, operating budgets, and integrated financial strategies for the service.
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives for Cardiac Services.
- Serve as a vital liaison between internal and external stakeholders to enhance understanding of business operations and reimbursement frameworks.
- Foster community outreach through education and screening initiatives focused on vascular and cardiac health.
- Monitor and propose operational strategies in response to economic market trends affecting the service line.
- Ensure effective physician relations practices to address referring physician concerns and promote network services.
- Maintain compliance with payer authorizations and documentation requirements for cardiovascular procedures.
- Lead efforts to achieve accreditation for cardiovascular service line areas.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Required: A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive management experience in relevant service line areas or clinical programs, including experience in business development strategy formulation. Knowledge of hybrid cardiac programs is essential. Strong communication skills across all levels of management and with the public are necessary.
