OBJECTIVE
This role is essential for welcoming clients and overseeing the customer storage retrieval process. Opportunities for Full-Time and Part-Time Employment.

KEY DUTIES
  • Welcome and assist customers purchasing storage items.
  • Oversee the retrieval process for storage purchases utilizing the company's vehicle signage program.
  • Exhibit proficiency and adhere to the company's telephone response standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • Confirm the identity of individuals collecting storage purchase orders to ensure proper authorization.
  • Gather necessary customer details for all storage retrievals.
  • Process customer storage orders in the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Follow the company's safety standard operating procedures regarding lifting techniques.
  • Possess comprehensive product knowledge and assist customers with inquiries and selections.
  • Maintain cleanliness and stock products in accordance with Floor & Decor's brand guidelines.
  • Act in alignment with the company's core values and operational standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least one year of retail sales experience or a combination of education and experience sufficient to perform essential job functions, as determined by the company.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities to collaborate with all levels of management and staff.
  • Proficient computer skills and experience in coordinating internet projects.
  • Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a dynamic work environment.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
  • While performing job duties, employees may frequently encounter a warehouse setting and moving vehicles. The noise level in this environment is typically moderate to loud.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical Work - Ability to exert force occasionally, and/or lift 20-30 pounds frequently, and/or handle objects weighing up to 20 pounds constantly. Employees are often required to use their hands and fingers for handling or feeling. Frequent standing, walking, reaching with arms and hands, climbing or balancing, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling are also required.

STORE OPERATING HOURS

Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Saturday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
