Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Utility Worker to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a Food Service Utility Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen work areas, ensuring that our equipment and utensils are clean and orderly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain kitchen work areas, including sweeping and mopping floors, washing worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
  • Remove trash and place it into designated containers, and steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, and assist with banquet table and front of the house set up.
  • Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed, and comply with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • No experience is necessary; we are willing to train.
  • Ability to work rotating weekends and varying shifts.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
