Position: Industrialization Project Manager

As an Industrialization Project Manager, you will oversee deviation requests and ensure that all necessary cross-functional approvals and support are secured for deviations from standard processes. Your role will be crucial in the planning and execution of the verification and validation test plan, aligning with our established project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and enhance all activities related to the verification and validation of vehicle features and compliance with regulations, including managing deviation requests.
- Plan, monitor, and execute Industrialization projects with limited complexity across various organizations or manage complex subprojects within our organization, adhering to agreed-upon scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards.
- Focus on designing, communicating, and implementing operational plans for engineering-based projects in manufacturing and industrialization, including preparing designs, project controls, specifications, schedules, cost estimates, and overseeing production, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of new infrastructure and equipment.
- Ensure project requirements are met with an emphasis on quality, timely delivery, cost management, and achievement of vehicle feature targets.
- Coordinate incoming test requests using a risk management approach in collaboration with Feature Engineers.
- Represent the Complete Vehicle organization in project management teams, design reviews, and clinics.
- Identify necessary resources and associated costs for executing the verification and validation plan.
- Lead feature reviews and provide regular updates to the project team.
- Contribute to project documentation, ensuring that project timelines encompass all activities required for comprehensive component, system, and function verification and validation.
- Collaborate with the PMO team on daily planning and task execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
- 5-8+ years of project management experience, ideally within the automotive sector.
- Leadership experience is highly regarded.
- Familiarity with quality tools such as risk analysis, FMEA, and Project Assurance quality is preferred.
- Knowledge of SAFe Agile methodology is a plus.
- Understanding of North American automotive safety regulations (FMVSS/CMVSS) is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Genuine interest in fostering relationships with stakeholders.
Compensation:
Base Pay - $85,000 + DOE
