Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Education Specialist to join our team at the Office of Early Learning, Davis Elementary. As an integral member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality educational services to young children and their families.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide instruction and supervision in a safe and healthy learning environment for children.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to individual children's needs, abilities, and interests.
  • Encourage parent engagement and work collaboratively with families to promote their child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
  • Ensure compliance with HSPPS and OSSE policies and procedures, as well as OEL's Code of Conduct and UPO's Employee Handbook.
  • Facilitate communication with families to discuss child progress and promote learning.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field, or 60-credit hours of college-level coursework.
  • At least one year of supervised occupational experience working with children in a licensed child development facility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
