Position Overview

The Plant Manager at Idaho Pacific Holdings will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight of production processes, quality assurance, maintenance operations, environmental compliance, inventory management, and employee relations. This role includes direct supervision of key personnel including the Raw Procurement Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, Maintenance Manager, and Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of plant operations, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Oversee budgeting, production schedules, sanitation protocols, and environmental regulations.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among management teams and staff.
  • Utilize computer software for operational management, including proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Implement and maintain safety programs that promote a culture of safety within the facility.
  • Manage food production equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Employ critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges.
  • Effectively manage time and resources to enhance productivity.
  • Demonstrate dependability and self-motivation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Possess the capability to oversee all areas of the plant facility.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Management, Industrial Relations, Food Science, or a related field; or possess extensive manufacturing experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Delegate responsibilities and enforce established policies within the plant.
