As a Technical Product Development Manager at Idera, Inc., you will lead the technical direction and development of our software products, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, on-time releases that meet customer needs.

About the Role

You will be responsible for defining and executing the technical vision for our products, collaborating with Product Management and DevOps to develop detailed product roadmaps and backlogs, and leading engineering efforts to achieve strong technical designs and implementation approaches.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of product source code, dependencies, build system, test suite, and relevant environments">
  • Making good, proactive decisions for the product and assessing and shepherding the technical delivery of high-quality products">
  • Collaborating with the Product Management Team and other stakeholders to contribute to the product roadmap, product requirements, and product release schedule">

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • ">
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science (or a related field) or equivalent professional work experience">
  • 5+ years' experience building successful production software systems and driving business results using global teams">
  • Strong technical leadership skills and experience leading engineering efforts to achieve strong technical designs and implementation approaches">
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills and proactive problem-solving skills">
  • Familiarity with various programming languages and tools such as Hive, Spark, Trino, Mojave, Jupyter, Hadoop, Zeppelin, Ranger, and Airflow">
