Kean Miller LLP is a prominent law firm with offices across Louisiana and Texas, dedicated to serving the legal needs of individuals, businesses, and industries that drive regional economic growth. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technology Support Engineer to join our Technology Department in New Orleans.

As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional customer service by resolving Tier 2 technical issues reported by firm personnel. Your role will involve diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving a wide range of technology-related problems, ensuring smooth workflows for all employees. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of training solutions to enhance user proficiency with firm applications and technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Provide in-person and remote technical support to address Tier 2 service requests during regular business hours and on a rotating on-call schedule.
  • Conduct thorough analysis to identify the root cause of technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Proactively identify recurring technical or training challenges and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
  • Prepare and configure computers, peripherals, and software for new users, manage hardware exchanges/upgrades, and facilitate lease returns.
  • Maintain accurate records of all service requests, resolutions, and technical documentation.
  • Stay abreast of the latest technology advancements and industry best practices.
  • Provide support to the Infrastructure & Office Services team as needed.
  • Travel to Kean Miller offices and trial sites for on-site technology support.
