Anatomic Pathology Specialist

The University of Chicago Medicine seeks a highly skilled Anatomic Pathology Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), day shift position, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm in the Hyde Park location.
About the Job:
- This specialist will provide high-quality service to laboratory outreach clients, physicians, and staff in a high-stress environment.
- Responsibilities include accessioning of consultation and referral materials, supporting transfer of patient care to UCM or providing secondary opinions to Outreach clients.
- Maintain specimen integrity by following transport procedures, shipping, and packaging guidelines.
- Candidate must have an Associates degree in clinical laboratory science, life sciences, or related field from an accredited college or university.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree, Training or experience in clinical laboratory science.
About the Salary:
$65,000 - $80,000 per year.
