Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with laboratory clients to ensure exceptional customer service and support.
  2. Process and manage large volumes of specimens, including accessioning, quality assurance, and pre-analytical processing services.
  3. Maintain accurate records and verify specimen information to ensure timely testing and results.
  4. Collaborate with technical laboratory associates to resolve issues related to outreach specimen collection, processing, reporting, and courier activities.
  5. Coordinate orders for supplies and consumables needed for the operation of outreach sites.
  6. Manage inventory, including collection supplies, requisitions, and fax machine supplies, to ensure compliance standards are met.
  7. Monitor and record quality control/safety data as required by accrediting agencies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in clinical laboratory science, life sciences, or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Knowledge and ability to appropriately handle and prepare various laboratory specimen types.
  • Experience working with laboratory/hospital information systems and automated/conventional laboratory equipment.

Estimated Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 per year based on qualifications and experience.
