We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Professional to join our team at Landmark Property Services, Inc. in Richmond, Virginia. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall upkeep and maintenance of our properties, including daily tasks, repairs, and preventative maintenance.

About the Job:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of apartment maintenance experience and knowledge of all phases of apartment maintenance. You should be certified in refrigerant recovery and have a high level of integrity, be trustworthy, and hardworking.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily maintenance tasks, including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry-related repairs.
  • Coordinate with on-site managers to ensure timely completion of tasks and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify potential issues and take proactive measures to prevent them.
  • Assist with custodial work, including sweeping, painting, and other tasks as needed.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance calls from residents and address their concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest maintenance techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year of apartment maintenance experience.
  • Certification in refrigerant recovery.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid state driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift up to 200 pounds and work at heights using ladders and scaffolding.
