Richmond, VA based Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer at Terraces at Manchester Apartments is seeking a full-time Service Technician to oversee apartment maintenance in an effective and timely manner. This role offers a regular work week with on-call hours as needed.

A competitive salary of $45,000-$60,000 per year, plus generous benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid leave, a 401(k) plan, and employee stock ownership (ESOP), are part of the total compensation package.

Job Description

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing and completing apartment work orders and apartment turnovers. You will expertly maintain and repair appliances, plumbing, minor HVAC issues, and electrical work, while assisting in common areas, property buildings, and pool maintenance. Additionally, you will complete preventative maintenance to ensure that everything is in working order.

You will provide exceptional customer service to our clients, handling daily checklists, occasional tasks, and unexpected surprises with professionalism and efficiency. Your ability to solve problems, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment will make you a valuable asset to our team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in residential community maintenance or similar
  • CFC & HVAC certification required
  • Training in plumbing and electrical
  • Working knowledge and experience in general apartment maintenance (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, appliances, repair, etc.)
  • Valid driver's license
