Position Overview

We are seeking a remarkable individual to take on the role of Senior Housekeeping Supervisor. This position requires a diligent and dedicated person who will uphold our values while ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness across our properties. The successful candidate will oversee a small team of housekeepers and collaborate closely with the local management team.

Work Schedule

This role is classified as part-time, with the potential for full-time opportunities based on individual skills and company expansion. Weekly hours may fluctuate according to business demands.

Compensation
  • Hourly rate of $18, subject to variation based on skills, experience, education, and location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Thoroughly clean and maintain Vacasa properties, adhering to established cleaning protocols and standards.
    • Tasks include sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and washing surfaces.
    • Move furniture as necessary to ensure comprehensive cleaning.
    • Assist with laundry duties as required.
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and homeowners by ensuring properties are well-maintained.
  • Assist in scheduling, ticket distribution, and supply management as directed by management.
  • Contribute to performance evaluations and problem resolution with guidance from management and Human Resources.
  • Identify and report any property damages, creating maintenance requests as needed.
  • Mentor and support a small team of housekeepers, ensuring adherence to assignments and best practices.
  • Conduct inspections of completed cleans, providing touch-up services as necessary.
  • Foster open communication and collaborative relationships with team members and management.
    • Regularly correspond with local management and team members.
    • Be available to assist colleagues and management as needed.
  • Provide coverage for management and co-leads when required.
  • Manage waste disposal and maintain cleanliness in common areas.
  • Meet and uphold housekeeping performance metrics.
  • Participate in all mandatory meetings.
  • Restock consumable items such as soaps and paper products.
  • Maintain hot tubs as required; training will be provided.
  • Other duties as assigned, as each day presents unique challenges.
Qualifications
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
  • Smartphone and personal email access are required.
  • Ability to drive in various weather conditions.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and evenings, throughout the week.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lead by example, embodying company values.
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability.
  • Prior experience in housekeeping is preferred, though training in Vacasa standards will be provided.
  • Physical ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods, including lifting and moving items up to 20 pounds.
  • Comfortable using computers and smart devices, with daily internet access.
