Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated individual to take on the role of Senior Housekeeping Supervisor. This position requires a diligent individual who exemplifies our core values while ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness in our properties. The selected candidate will oversee a small team of housekeepers and collaborate closely with the local management team.

Although this role is classified as part-time, there may be opportunities for full-time employment depending on individual capabilities and the company's expansion. Weekly hours will fluctuate based on seasonal business demands.

Compensation Package
  • $18 per hour, with actual pay varying based on the candidate's skills, experience, education, and location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and professionally clean Vacasa properties in accordance with established company standards.
    • Perform tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and washing surfaces.
    • Rearrange portable furniture to ensure thorough cleaning.
    • Assist with laundry duties as required.
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and homeowners by ensuring properties are clean and well-maintained.
  • Assist in scheduling, ticket distribution, and supply organization as directed by management.
  • Provide input on performance evaluations, address issues, and implement disciplinary measures with guidance from management and Human Resources.
  • Identify and document any property damages, creating maintenance requests as necessary.
  • Manage, mentor, and train a small team of housekeepers.
  • Ensure housekeeping staff adheres to assignments and provide guidance on work methods and routines.
  • Conduct inspections of completed cleans by housekeepers and perform touch-up cleans as needed.
  • Foster open and collaborative relationships with team members and management.
    • Maintain regular communication with the local management team and team members.
    • Be available to assist colleagues and management when required.
  • Provide coverage for management and Co-Lead Housekeeper(s) as necessary.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and debris.
  • Meet and uphold required housekeeping metrics.
  • Attend all mandatory individual and team meetings.
  • Replenish consumable items such as soaps and paper products.
  • Maintain hot tubs as needed; training will be provided.
  • Other duties as assigned, as each day presents unique challenges.

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and evenings, seven days a week.

  • Prior experience in housekeeping is preferred, though training on Vacasa standards will be provided.

    • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Comfortable using computers and smart devices.
