Job Overview

Position Summary

The Spa Service Expert is responsible for delivering exceptional massage and body treatments tailored to the needs of each Spa Guest. This role requires strict adherence to the policies and procedures established by Biltmore Hotel Limited.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Spa services to guests promptly and courteously, aligning with Biltmore Standards and Leading Hotel Standards.
  • Guide clients to and from treatment rooms, addressing any immediate needs during their Spa experience.
  • Maintain and respect treatment rooms, equipment, and products.
  • Provide information and assist with guest inquiries and requests for services.
  • Promote and sell Spa retail products effectively.
  • Participate in all quarterly staff meetings.
  • Commit to a six-month fixed schedule as agreed upon with management upon hiring.
  • Collaborate with other spa departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma is required.

Experience

  • A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role within the Spa industry.

Possess knowledge of various modalities and Spa products.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be capable of:
  • Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 20 pounds without assistance.
  • Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods or throughout the entire work shift.
  • Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Using and operating all necessary office equipment with finger dexterity.
  • Communicating with employees, managers, subordinates, and guests through verbal communication, hearing, and visual acuity.
  • Viewing a computer screen for prolonged periods.
  • Adapting to moderate temperatures as regulated by hotel environmental systems.
