Position Overview:
As a Nuclear Medicine Specialist, you will play a vital role in our Imaging Services department. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct advanced diagnostic procedures utilizing radioactive isotopes, contributing to accurate patient assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform nuclear medicine examinations to evaluate organ function and diagnose medical conditions.
2. Utilize state-of-the-art technology for imaging studies, including thyroid, cardiac, pulmonary, and renal assessments.
3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and treatment outcomes.
4. Maintain high standards of safety and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited nuclear medicine technologist training program.
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in the state of Hawai'i.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one year of clinical experience in nuclear medicine.
Work Schedule:
Rotating shifts, 8 hours per day.
