About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our Imaging Services team at Straub Medical Center in Honolulu, HI.

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic services to patients and their families. You will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures, including imaging of the thyroid, heart, lung, bone, liver, and kidney, as well as tumors, infection, and other problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures using radioactive isotopes
  • Employ advanced diagnostic technologies to image various body parts
  • Diagnose and treat patients for hyperthyroidism and thyroid cancer
  • Palliate bone pain using nuclear medicine techniques
  • Ensure quality diagnostic services and care for patients and their families
Requirements
  • Successful completion of nuclear medicine technologist training program
  • Current Hawai'i state Nuclear Medicine Technologist license
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification (NMTCB or ARRT)
  • Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) year clinical nuclear medicine technologist experience
