Service Coordinator

We are a family-oriented company with locations in the Midwest and East coast. As a result of our growth, we have a need for a Service Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide sales support for Crane products and services to Account Managers and customers.
- Develop and maintain product and product knowledge necessary to service internal and external customers within assigned market.
- Coordinate all assigned internal and external service projects regarding scope, schedule, and budget.
- Prepare project file with equipment manuals and parts lists.
- Review inspection reports findings.
- Prepare and deliver service quotes to customers for field service and in-house repair opportunities.
- Assist customer service team with order entry tasks.
- Obtain credit information to set up new customers.
- Request quotations from vendors, both represented and not.
- Estimate labor for service jobs.
- Assist in margin growth through obtaining discounts and inventory decision-making.
- Supports sales staff with obtaining business.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
- 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Sales experience preferred.
- Ability to be mechanically adept.
- Ability to interact professionally over the phone with a focus on customer service and increasing sales.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Works well under pressure.
- Strong customer service and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
