The Shaw's/Star Market Division is seeking a highly motivated individual for the Role of Store Management Trainee.

The goal of this training program is to create a qualified associate who can assume the Assistant Store Director position.

The 11-week program involves a combination of virtual classroom instruction, independent study, and on-the-job training.

Upon successful completion of the program, the trainee will be promoted to Assistant Store Director.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
● 1+ year experience in retail management

EXPECTATIONS
ASD Trainees are expected to:
● Provide exceptional customer service
● Manage their time well
● Work independently to accomplish tasks
● Take the initiative to solve problems
● Demonstrate leadership ability and dedication to advancing their career
● Provide appropriate coaching and feedback to others
● Ability to lift and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights, up to 50 lbs.
● Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, move rapidly, bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently. Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination are necessary.
● Exposure to approximately 150 degrees Fahrenheit while handling products in hot cases, 35 degrees Fahrenheit while handling products in cold cases, 28 degrees Fahrenheit while handling products in cooler, and -20 degrees Fahrenheit while handling products in freezer. Working conditions consist of a temperature-controlled store environment.
