POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician specializing in overhead cranes to join our dynamic team at CraneTech, Inc. This role requires a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, as well as a commitment to delivering exceptional service in various production environments.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a crane service technician or in a related technical field (electrical, mechanical, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to acquire mechanical, electrical, and industrial competencies.
  • Willingness to travel and work in production settings, including potential overnight stays.
  • Proficient in using company-issued mobile devices and computers.
  • Capable of completing electronic documentation promptly.
  • Availability to work extended hours and on holidays as necessary.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to stand or walk for 95% of the workday.
  • Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40-50 pounds without assistance.
  • Frequent squatting, twisting, reaching, climbing, and bending.
  • Ability to push or pull materials with the aid of equipment.
  • Strong hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity (both gross and fine motor skills).
  • Good depth perception and peripheral vision.
  • Ability to hear effectively.
