We are currently seeking a dedicated Compliance Manager to lead the compliance initiatives for our HUD and LURA portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position will be based at our headquarters and requires the ability to work independently while collaborating with colleagues nationwide.
Key Responsibilities- Gather and manage documentation for the HUD 2530 Management approval process.
- Oversee the 9832 Management Entity Profile and 9839b Project Owner's/Management Agent's Certification.
- Act as the administrator for Secure Systems setup and user maintenance.
- Supervise and respond to annual MOR and REAC reviews.
- Coordinate annual MOR and REAC reviews as necessary.
- Serve as the primary contact for associates and external HUD offices.
- Submit HUD OCAF increase approvals in collaboration with contract administrators.
- Facilitate the preparation of annual financial documents for client reporting.
- Maintain comprehensive records within the HUD Tracker.
- Ensure all properties are well-informed about HUD programs.
- Provide guidance to on-site associates regarding HUD compliance and policies.
- Participate in training sessions provided by the company.
- Maintain compliance with all required HUD certifications.
- Support various departments on projects as compliance schedules allow.
- Stay updated on relevant HUD regulations and communicate changes to property management staff.
- Collaborate closely with property management to address HUD compliance issues and provide necessary support.
- Oversee annual green program audits in compliance with HUD requirements.
- Conduct regular audits of tenant files to ensure adherence to HUD regulations.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HUD compliance.
- Familiarity with HUD's APPS system.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Extensive knowledge of HUD market rate and LURA compliance.
- Willingness to work onsite during standard business hours.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
