About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Dosimetrist to join our team at the University of California. As a key member of our Radiation Oncology department, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of medical dosimetry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and radiation therapists to support treatment simulation, quality control, and departmental quality initiatives.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans using various systems and software, including IMRT, SBRT, and 3D conformal radiotherapy.
  • Perform and analyze in-vivo and in-phantom measurements to ensure accurate radiation dose distributions.
  • Stay up-to-date with current radiotherapy treatment techniques and principles of radiation safety and Health Physics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Certification by the American Board of Medical Dosimetry or CMD eligible.
  • 3 years of full-time dosimetry experience.
