Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Dosimetrist to join our team at UCLA Health. As a Medical Dosimetrist, you will play a critical role in the planning and delivery of radiation therapy treatments.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiation oncology and experience with treatment planning systems. You will work closely with our team of medical physicists and dosimetrists to ensure accurate and effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver radiation therapy treatments using advanced treatment planning systems
  • Collaborate with medical physicists and dosimetrists to ensure accurate and effective treatment plans
  • Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure optimal treatment delivery
  • Participate in departmental quality initiatives and process improvements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
  • Certification by the American Board of Medical Dosimetry or CMD eligible
  • 3 years of full-time dosimetry experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with treatment planning systems, including Varian and Elekta
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and health physics principles
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including evenings and weekends
