Job Overview

The LPN Medication Care Manager is responsible for providing the highest degree of quality care and services by administering medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner.

Responsibilities
  • Medication Administration: Administer medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner, reviewing and documenting pertinent information about residents.
  • Resident Care: Conduct Service and Health Updates, participate in the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs), and transcribe orders.
  • Risk Management and General Safety: Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA and Occupational Health and Safety Regulation requirements, practicing safety procedures and reporting accidents and incidents immediately.
Qualifications
  • Requirements: LPN, LVN, or state/province specific licensed nurse credential, maintenance of certifications and ongoing training, and ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working with seniors, ability to make choices and decisions, and level of understanding.
