Nurse Coordinator

St. Joseph's Health is seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will contribute to the operational management of the unit, promoting an environment of excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement staffing plans to ensure adequate care coverage.
- Evaluate unit productivity and adjust to reach targeted levels.
- Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers to optimize bed utilization.
- Respond to urgent/emergent situations by reallocating personnel and resources.
- Participate in patient care activities as needed.
- Implement service recovery strategies.
- Coach, mentor, and support staff.
- Collaborate with nursing education to facilitate orientation initiatives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- One to two years of progressive experience in the field.
- Strong clinical skills, leadership qualities, and commitment to ongoing education.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
