Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program Director

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Director for the Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program (REAP) at the Sloan School of Management. The successful candidate will collaborate with MIT staff, faculty, clients, and vendors to deliver a global initiative across over 80 regions.
Key Responsibilities:- Onboard and manage three to four overlapping cohorts of participants across a 24-month flagship Global Program and an 18-month customized Focus Program.
- Set up and maintain a learning management platform for each cohort.
- Track and review participant deliverables, including written assignments, presentations, and activity updates.
- Strategize and work cross-functionally with the communications team to develop and execute on a timeline of strategic activities related to events/programs.
- Contribute expertise to program and event management on topics such as travel logistics, run of show, and speaker management.
- Evaluate and pilot new concepts in event operations, content, and event management to enable more efficient use of resources.
- Deliver a portfolio of programs and events including workshops, conferences, and ancillary events.
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least two years' academic administration experience, including experience in B2B event planning within a higher education or corporate environment.
- Proven track record of successful conference/event management.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, time management, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem experience.
- International event experience.
- Familiarity with MIT.
- Social media and design skills.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, pressured work environment with last-minute changes and deadlines. They will be required to work effectively with all levels of the organization and work independently and as a member of a team.
