The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) is a pivotal leadership position, directly reporting to the President/COO and collaborating closely with the executive team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Strategic Business Partnership:

    • Develop HR strategies that align with overall business goals.
    • Implement best practices in talent acquisition, employee relations, succession planning, and leadership development.
    • Champion a compensation philosophy that is equitable and performance-driven.
    • Manage the annual performance review process, ensuring ongoing performance management.
    • Address employee concerns proactively and manage compliance with employment regulations.
    • Build the HR infrastructure necessary for successful mergers and acquisitions.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure adherence to employment laws and provide guidance on policy interpretation.
    • Develop metrics and processes that support organizational performance and goal achievement.
    • Manage and optimize HR systems and processes across the organization.
    • Organize employee data effectively through the HRIS platform.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field; PHR or SPHR certification preferred. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • At least 10 years of experience in HR, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple HR functions.
  • Demonstrated experience managing HR in a rapidly growing organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Proven capability to design and implement effective HR programs strategically and tactically.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence leadership on HR strategies.
  • Experience in change management best practices.
  • Proven track record in attracting and retaining exceptional talent.
  • Experience in payroll management and corporate benefits administration.
  • Ability to establish credibility within the HR function through professional qualifications and leadership skills.
