Position Summary: The Equipment Delivery Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through the effective maintenance, delivery, setup, and exchange of our beverage equipment. This includes vending machines, coolers, and fountain systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver, remove, and relocate beverage equipment as needed.
  • Load and unload equipment for delivery and returns.
  • Maintain clear communication with customers and supervisors regarding delivery status.
  • Ensure proper placement and functionality of coolers, including temperature checks.
  • Educate customers on the operation of equipment.
  • Assist with the installation and removal of fountain and coffee dispensing systems.
  • Troubleshoot and perform immediate repairs on equipment.
  • Operate a motor vehicle safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain inventory of on-vehicle parts and generate requests as necessary.
  • Complete required documentation, including work tickets and vehicle inspections.
  • Repair and rebuild equipment components as needed.
  • Utilize electronic devices for data entry and retrieval.
  • Provide excellent customer service during equipment delivery and repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is essential.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
  • Certification in Refrigeration/HVAC is a plus.
  • Experience in plumbing and technical fields is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude is necessary.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Prior experience with moving equipment is beneficial.
  • Forklift certification is preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects regularly, up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.

Work Environment: The work environment may be moderately noisy due to operational equipment. Personal protective equipment such as hearing protection, hard hats, and safety glasses will be provided by the company.
