As a Production Equipment Specialist, you will operate machinery and specialized tools to manufacture various components for final products. Starting Wage: $17 to $19/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
Friday through Sunday, 5:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret blueprints or job orders for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, along with tooling instructions
  • Select, position, and secure tools in holders
  • Adjust controls to position tools and workpieces relative to each other, and to set specified feeds, speeds, and cutting depths
  • Initiate machine operation, direct coolant or cutting oil flow, and feed tools to workpieces
  • Monitor machine operations and verify that machined workpieces conform to specifications
  • Grind, sand, clean, or polish parts to rectify defects or prepare surfaces for further finishing
  • Ensure that parts are machined to specifications and adhere to quality standards
  • Document product and processing data on designated forms

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Specialized training in metalworking or manufacturing preferred
  • Basic mechanical and metalworking skills required
  • Proven ability to work safely and perform tasks with precision and accuracy
  • Effective communication skills with customers, colleagues, and supervisors
  • Ability to pass a background check
