Key Responsibilities- Interview patients to obtain all necessary account information, including demographic and insurance details.
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain pre-certification/authorization as needed.
- Calculate and collect patient liability amounts, ensuring accurate and timely billing.
- Ensure all necessary signatures are obtained for treatments, release of medical information, and payment of services.
- Process patient charts according to established productivity standards and paperwork flow needs.
- Assign insurance plans accurately and verify benefits to ensure seamless billing and payment processes.
- 1 year of related experience in patient registration or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
