Medical Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Methodist Hospital. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with routine duties in caring for outpatient clinic patients, including vital sign collection, phlebotomy, and specimen labeling.
- Provide assistance to nursing personnel as needed, including running errands, stocking examination rooms, and maintaining patient room cleanliness.
- Prepare charts and orders for patient clinic visits, and assist with clerical duties such as medical records correspondence and scheduling procedures.
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or Certified Nurse Aide preferred.
- Completion of a certified medical program or training as a military medic or Certified Monitor Technician considered.
