Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support the Planning and Research Branch in the Governor's Office of Planning and Research. As an Air Pollution Specialist, you will work closely with other government agencies, academics, and stakeholders to research, analyze, and develop policies and programs related to air pollution and climate change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis on air pollution and climate change policies and programs
  • Develop and implement policies and programs to reduce air pollution and mitigate climate change
  • Collaborate with other government agencies, academics, and stakeholders to advance the goals of the Governor's Office of Planning and Research
  • Provide technical assistance and support to other staff members on air pollution and climate change-related issues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, policy, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in a related field, such as air pollution policy, climate change research, or sustainability planning
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data and develop policy recommendations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
