Overview

The Recruiter will play a crucial role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring exceptional talent to meet Fervo Energy's strategic goals. This position collaborates closely with hiring managers and key stakeholders to comprehend their staffing requirements and formulate effective recruitment strategies to efficiently fill vacancies. A proactive and strategic mindset is essential for identifying potential candidates, along with strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with applicants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition: Design and implement recruitment strategies to draw in qualified candidates for diverse roles, including technical, administrative, and leadership positions. Employ various sourcing techniques, such as job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals to discover and attract potential hires. Cultivate and sustain a diverse pool of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
  • Candidate Screening & Interviewing: Evaluate resumes and applications to pinpoint suitable candidates; conduct preliminary phone screenings to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit; organize and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and interview panels.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work in partnership with hiring managers to understand job specifications and create detailed job descriptions. Provide guidance and support throughout the recruitment process, including interview strategies and candidate assessments. Maintain ongoing communication with candidates, offering updates on their application status and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Offer Management & Onboarding: Assist the People Operations team in extending job offers and negotiating employment terms with selected candidates. Oversee the onboarding process for new hires to facilitate a seamless transition into the organization.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Remain updated on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor hiring practices. Analyze recruitment metrics and report on the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and processes.
  • Talent Pipeline: Represent Fervo Energy at career fairs and internship events, collaborate with diverse professional organizations, and engage in relevant networking opportunities.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in recruitment, preferably within the energy sector or a related field.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
  • Basic understanding of full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple recruitment processes concurrently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; a customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Problem-solving capabilities to anticipate needs, identify challenges, and devise effective solutions; must be proactive and resourceful.
  • Willingness to work onsite as required.
