Job Summary:
The Telehealth Medical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of virtual healthcare services. This position involves utilizing medical theory and clinical practice knowledge to ensure high-quality remote patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver virtual healthcare services while adhering to safety, privacy, and security protocols.
  • Utilize medical theory and clinical knowledge to deliver effective remote patient care.
  • Operate and manage medical equipment used in telehealth services, ensuring proper functioning and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Develop and implement efficient workflows for remote healthcare delivery to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide training to staff on telehealth equipment operations and usage.
  • Work in a correctional facility environment while complying with security regulations and understanding inmate behavior.
  • Interpret data, track trends, and perform analysis to improve the telehealth process.
Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum.

Required Qualifications:
  1. Education: Completion of a Medical Assistant Diploma or Certified Nursing Assistant Program.
  2. Experience: Prior experience in the delivery of virtual care and a working knowledge of medical theory, clinical practice, and patient care.
