Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within the kitchen
  • Ensure the quality of food produced meets high standards
  • Manage kitchen inventory and procure food and supplies as necessary
  • Train, supervise, and develop kitchen personnel to optimize kitchen operations
  • Uphold food safety regulations and standards
  • Monitor food costs and implement corrective measures when needed
  • Establish and enforce waste management procedures
  • Keep detailed records of food production and kitchen activities
  • Address and resolve any kitchen-related issues promptly

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Culinary Operations Manager or in a similar capacity, with a successful track record; buffet experience is a plus
  • Preferred educational background in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or Restaurant Management
  • Strong leadership capabilities with an aptitude for delegating tasks
  • Ability to maintain composure and resolve challenges efficiently
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced setting
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation regulations
  • Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment (e.g., grills, fryers, etc.)
