We are seeking a skilled Culinary Operations Manager to oversee the efficient functioning of our kitchen. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within the kitchen
- Ensure the quality of food produced meets high standards
- Manage kitchen inventory and procure food and supplies as necessary
- Train, supervise, and develop kitchen personnel to optimize kitchen operations
- Uphold food safety regulations and standards
- Monitor food costs and implement corrective measures when needed
- Establish and enforce waste management procedures
- Keep detailed records of food production and kitchen activities
- Address and resolve any kitchen-related issues promptly
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as a Culinary Operations Manager or in a similar capacity, with a successful track record; buffet experience is a plus
- Preferred educational background in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or Restaurant Management
- Strong leadership capabilities with an aptitude for delegating tasks
- Ability to maintain composure and resolve challenges efficiently
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation regulations
- Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment (e.g., grills, fryers, etc.)
