Maintenance Technician

As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function and is responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
- Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems.
- Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years experience as a facilities technician or related (building/engineering operations)
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more
- Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems
- Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
