Job Title: Telemedicine Physician Assistant

Mobile Healthcare Partners Inc is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join its growing team in the Telemedicine Business.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Physician Assistant to lead our Acute Management Team for homebound patients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an NP/PA in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Acute Management Team: Coordinate with triage staff to identify and complete acute telemedicine visits and subsequent service coordination.
  • ER/Hospital Avoidance Team Lead: Determine when it is appropriate to send a Mobile Primary Care Medical Assistant (MA) or Nurse to the patient home with telemedicine and acute care stabilization materials.
  • Home Visits: Visit patients in their homes to stabilize and coordinate care.
  • Electronic Health Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records for each patient.
  • Quality Improvement: Review reports on patient outcomes and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years clinical experience as an NP/PA in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Environment.
  • Current and unrestricted DEA License.
  • Current and unrestricted New York state license.
  • Possess Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.
  • Exceptional diplomatic communication skills and experience in handling difficult customer situations.
  • Detailed oriented and ability to multi-task.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing with completion of a university-based program for Nurse Practitioner.
  • Relevant certification from American Nurses Association or another nationally recognized certifying body.
