About the Role:The primary purpose of this position is to perform clinical and administrative duties that assist in patient care management. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Verifying patient information and recording medical history
- Preparing patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests
- Conducting chart preparation and managing incoming documents
- Performing point-of-care testing and collecting lab specimens
- Managing inventory and maintaining a safe work environment
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Certification for Medical Assistants from an accredited facility (preferred)
- Proven work experience in a healthcare facility (preferred)
- Strong clinical skills and written and verbal communication skills
